The Detroit Pistons are struggling to start the 2012-13 NBA season and are at the bottom of various NBA power rankings from around the web. The Pistons are 0-3 and have struggled to score so far this season. As one of only three winless teams left in the NBA, Detroit has nowhere to go but up.
In Seth Rosenthal's power rankings at SB Nation, he has the Pistons in dead last at No. 30. Detroit is also ranked No. 30 by Marc Stein at ESPN. John Schuhmann of NBA.com and Matt Moore of CBS Sports also have the Pistons ranked 30th. Only Kurt Helin of Pro Basketball Talk kept the Pistons out of the cellar, ranking them at No. 29, just ahead of the Washington Wizards.
All of the power rankings mention the Pistons problems hitting shots so far this season, specifically Rodney Stuckey's 1-for-23 start. Detroit looks for their first win of the season when they take on the winless Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night.
