Wednesday night's matchup between the Detroit Pistons and Sacramento Kings features two young teams that have so far been unsuccessful this season at translating talent into wins. The teams will enter the game with a combined record of 1-7, with the Pistons still searching for their first victory.
Detroit is in the midst of a six-game West Coast road trip, the most recent two games of which have been disasters. In those last two contests, the Pistons lost to the Los Angeles Lakers by the score of 108-79 and 109-97 to the Denver Nuggets. The Sacramento Kings, though, should present a bit of an easier time.
Sacramento secured its first victory of the season on Monday night when it defeated the Golden State Warriors. The contest against Detroit will feature a battle between DeMarcus Cousins and Greg Monroe, two of the best young big men in the NBA.
Tipoff is at 10 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Detroit.
