The Detroit Pistons have struggled at the outset of the the 2012 season, but unfortunately the NBA schedule doesn't let up at all for them. On Friday they face Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder, and then on Saturday they meet James Harden, Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets.

The defense will be tested during both games, as Durant is the reigning NBA scoring champion and Harden is the current leader for 2012 with a gaudy 30.3 points-per-game average.

There are several other national broadcasts over the weekend as well. On Friday, the Rockets take on the Memphis Grizzlies (NBATV, 8 p.m. ET) and the Utah Jazz face off against the Denver Nuggets (ESPN, 10:30 p.m. ET). Then on Saturday, the Dallas Mavericks and Charlotte Bobcats play at 7:30 p.m. on NBATV.

Here is a look at a list of key matchups for the weekend.
