Elton Brand had 17 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks to lead Dallas to a 92-77 win over the Detroit Pistons on Saturday.
Brand's double-double was his second this season.
Down six, 48-42, after two quarters, Dallas went on a 38-10 run in the second half to take a 80-61 lead with 8:11 left in the fourth quarter. Dallas outscored Detroit 50-29 in the second half to secure the 15-point win.
The Pistons shot just 34.1 percent from the floor versus the Mavericks. Greg Monroe matched a season-low with eight points on 4-of-17 shooting from the field for Detroit. Brandon Knight led the Pistons with a team-high 20 points.
O.J. Mayo had 27 points, five rebounds and four assists on 10-of-21 shooting from the field including 6-of-9 from three-point territory.
The win snapped the Mavericks' three-game losing streak as they improved to 8-9 on the season. The loss was Detroit's second in a row.
