NBA schedule 2012: Pistons aiming for consistency with tough slate ahead

The Pistons will open a new week of action with the Philadelphia 76ers before returning home to host the Nuggets on Tuesday.

After scoring a career-high 30 points on Saturday to help drop the Cleveland Cavaliers, point guard Brandon Knight and the Detroit Pistons will gear up for a dangerous week of games.

In the second game of a brief road trip against Eastern Conference teams, the Pistons will take on Jrue Holiday and the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday evening at the Wells Fargo Center. Along with entering in search of their second consecutive win for just the second time all year, the Pistons already took down the 76ers back on No. 14 to earn their first victory of the season.

Knight and the Pistons will return home the following night for a game with an extremely versatile Denver Nuggets team. Despite a game-high 27 points from big man Greg Monroe, the Pistons came up well short against the Nuggets during an early-season road trip back on Nov. 6. Although they currently own 10 wins on the season, the Nuggets have already endured three separate three-game losing streaks after just 20 games.
