Pistons vs. 76ers: Detroit can make it two in a row in Philadelphia

The Pistons head east looking for their second straight win.

Dale Zanine-US PRESSWIRE

The Detroit Pistons (7-15) will return on Monday night to the scene of their first victory of the season when they face the Philadelphia 76ers (11-9) on the road. In doing so, they'll have a shot at stringing together a two-game winning streak after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers this past Saturday night.

In that previous game against the Sixers, Detroit decimated Philly's offense, holding them to just under 30 percent from the field. It's highly unlikely that the Sixers will shoot so poorly again on Monday night, but keeping Philadelphia's mediocre offense under wraps gives Detroit its easiest path to victory.

The Sixers themselves have lost three of their last four games, though to teams (Minnesota, Boston, Chicago) that have all been significantly better than the Pistons this season. That said, the Sixers have been inconsistent so far this year, and their offense comes and goes without center Andrew Bynum.

Monday night's game tips at 7 p.m. ET on FSN Detroit or NBA TV.
