The Detroit Pistons have won just two of 10 games this December, but the rest of this week holds the potential for them to add some wins to their 7-20 record. Detroit will stage a home-and-home with the Washington Wizards over the weekend, but before that, they'll face the Toronto Raptors on the road on Wednesday night.
The Raptors were at one point even below the Pistons in the East standings, but the team has reeled off three straight wins to push its record to 7-19. Two of those wins came over the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets, and the team defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night. Those three wins broke a streak that saw Toronto lose 12 of 13 games across November and December.
The Pistons and Raptors have already met once this season, in what was a 91-90 victory for Detroit on Nov. 23. In that game, a late Brandon Knight layup pushed Detroit to a last-second home victory.
Wednesday night's game tips at 7 p.m. ET on FSN Detroit.
