Pistons vs. Hawks preview: Game time, TV schedule and more

The Pistons head south Wednesday night to take on the Hawks. Can they extend their winning streak to a season-long three games?

Looking to sustain the momentum from their recent victories, the Detroit Pistons visit the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night. A win would give Detroit its longest winning streak of the season at three games.

While the Pistons have mostly struggled this season as their young core develops, they've found success against other teams in similar positions. This month, Detroit has only won four games- two against the Cleveland Cavaliers and two against the Washington Wizards.

With those recent back-to-back wins over the Wizards, the Pistons may finally be able to build some momentum going into 2013. Detroit looked particularly strong in a 100-68 blowout of the Wizards last Friday, holding Washington to just 32 percent shooting from the field.

Atlanta has played well of late, though, winning 13 of its past 18 games. The Hawks blew out the Chicago Bulls, 92-75, in their most recent game.

Wednesday night's game begins at 7:30 p.m. ET from Philips Arena. It's being broadcast by FOX Sports Detroit.
