The Detroit Pistons (10-22) are looking to improve to 2-0 on their current five-game homestand as they host the Milwaukee Bucks (16-12) at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Detroit.
Milwaukee has won two straight games and is tied for first place in the Central Division. High-scoring guards Monta Ellis (19.3 points and 5.5 assists per game) and Brandon Jennings (17.9 points and 5.9 assists per game) lead the Bucks, along with a defense that is allowing opponents to shoot just 43 percent from the field this season.
The Pistons have been led in recent games by a resurgent bench. Will Bynum has scored 56 points in his last two games, Charlie Villanueva and Austin Daye have gone from out of the rotation to being key offensive contributors because of their ability to stretch the floor with their shooting and center Andre Drummond has been one of the most productive rookies in the league on a per-minute basis.
This is the first game between the two teams this season.
