The Detroit Pistons picked up a win on Sunday, capping off a weekend of NBA action.

USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Pistons picked up a win on Sunday, besting the Milwaukee Bucks in a narrow 96-94 decision. Monta Ellis had 30 points for the Bucks, while Tayshaun Prince had just 20 to lead the way for Detroit. The Pistons put together a team effort though, while Ellis was the only star for Milwaukee.

Jason Maxiell had 10 rebounds while Marquis Daniels only had six for Milwaukee. Will Bynum had five assists and Ellis had nine for the Bucks.

That was one of four games on Sunday, as the San Antonio Spurs downed the Dallas Mavericks, the Sacramento Kings bested the struggling Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Clippers continued their impressive play with a win over the Utah Jazz.

Saturday saw 11 games played, though the Pistons were not in action. The Washington Wizards dropped another game, the Oklahoma City Thunder moved to 23-6 with a win over the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors bested the Celtics.
