NBA All-Star Weekend 2013: Pistons' Brandon Knight will be on display

The Detroit Pistons will have youth on display at the 2013 NBA All-Star Weekend in Houston, TX. Point guard Brandon Knight will participate in the Rising Stars Challenge and try to become the first Piston to win the skills challenge. Andre Drummond was scheduled to face Knight in the Rising Stars game, but has since been sidelined with a back injury.

Detroit fans can watch Knight take on other sophomore and rookie NBA players on Friday night at 9 p.m. ET. The game will be televised by TNT with Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal serving as coaches.

Knight will be facing San Antonio's Tony Parker, Philadelphia's Jrue Holiday, Houston's Jeremy Lin, Portland's Damian Lillard and Atlanta's Jeff Teague in the Skills Challenge. That will take place as part of NBA All-Star Saturday Night. The Skills Challenge is set for the second event of the night, with coverage beginning at 8:30 p.m. on TNT. The Skills Challenge will compete on a timed-obstacle course that tests dribbling, passing, and shooting abilities.
