With the NHL and the players association in the midst of a labor standoff, many of the league's players have decided to head overseas. That includes Detroit Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk, who is playing with CSKA Moskow of the KHL. Datsyuk's team is in action on Monday, and it will be up against CSA Saint Petersburg.
Goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov of the Philadelphia Flyers and Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mikhail Grabovski also play with Datsyuk for CSKA Moscow. CSA Saint Petersburg also features several current NHL players: forward Ilya Kovalchuk of the New Jersey Devils, St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko and goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
