You can also head over to SB Nation's main NBA hub at SBNation.com/NBA.

The Detroit Pistons are on a very cold stretch of six straight losses, and they are also still winless away from the Palace of Auburn Hills. They will try to end both streaks tonight when they visit the 2-9 Charlotte Bobcats, who have also struggled greatly early in the NBA season.

Detroit coach Lawrence Frank recently compared their struggles to a pregnancy:

"Everyone wants a baby, but few people want to go through the pregnancy. This is going to be hard."

Most of Detroit's struggles come in scoring, where they rank 29th in the NBA at 83.7 points per game. Their possessions are limited with only 37.4 rebounds per game, which is 28th in the league. Detroit is getting outscored by an average of almost 12 points per game as they ranked 20th defensively. Detroit simply must find better ways to generate offense.
