The Detroit Pistons couldn't slow down Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns when it mattered on Friday night. The Suns rallied with a 30-point fourth quarter to beat the Pistons, 109-101.

Both teams entered the game trending in a positive direction which showed in their play. Detroit had won four of their previous five games and took a one point lead into the fourth quarter against Phoenix looking for an impressive road win in the middle of a tough five game trip against Western Conference teams.

But Phoenix had other plans as Robin Lopez scored four of his 14 points to start the fourth quarter and give the Suns a lead as the game remained tight until the final minute when the Pistons went cold on three straight possessions and the Suns made enough free throws to close out the game on a 7-2 run.

Jared Dudley led the Suns with 23 points while Steve Nash dished out 17 assists. Rodney Stuckey led the Pistons with 23 points and 8 assists.
