While the Tigers won't know their ALCS opponent until Friday night, Major League Baseball has already announced the schedule for their next series. Game 1 will be Saturday night, with either the Yankees or Orioles turning around without a day of rest. If the Yankees win Friday, however, they will get to stay put and host the Tigers. The format for the Championship Series is a 2-3-2, with the lower seed enjoying next week at home.
TBS will provide the coverage for the entire series, with FOX carrying the NLCS. Four of the potential six games will be night games, with Game 2 on Sunday and a potential Game 5 on Thursday scheduled for late afternoon. Here's the complete schedule:
