Yankees vs. Tigers lineups: Omar Infante to start at 2B, hit 2nd

Detroit manager Jim Leyland will use the exact same lineup he featured in Game 1 on Wednesday night against Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia.

Eager to punch their ticket to the 2012 World Series in impressive fashion, the Detroit Tigers will try to pull off a four-game sweep of the Yankees on Wednesday night from Comerica Park.

Set to face New York ace left-hander C.C. Sabathia, Detroit manager Jim Leyland will remain consistent and trot out his usual right-handed-heavy lineup. And even though he jammed his thumb in the Tigers' Game 3 win, second baseman Omar Infante will once again hold down the second base position and bat second against Sabathia.

Taking the mound for the first time in the series will be Detroit righty Max Scherzer, who did not give up an earned run against Oakland in his only other postseason appearance. Scherzer has managed to hold down New York sluggers Robinson Cano (.182 average) and Alex Rodriguez (.100) from the plate over the course of his career, even though he has yet to pull off a win against the Yankees in 2012.

Here is Detroit's full lineup for Game 4:

Tigers
1. Austin Jackson (R) CF
2. Omar Infante (R) 2B
3. Miguel Cabrera (R) 3B
4. Prince Fielder (L) 1B
5. Delmon Young (R) DH
6. Jhonny Peralta (R) SS
7. Andy Dirks (L) LF
8. Avisail Garcia (R) RF
9. Gerald Laird (R) C
Max Scherzer (R) SP
