The Detroit Tigers will attempt to beat the Kansas City Royals for the third time in as many nights behind the arm of Rick Porcello tonight at Comerica Park. The Tigers are currently tied for first place in the American League Central with the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox will host the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday night.

Cabrera will also continue his quest for baseball's triple crown as he currently trails Josh Hamilton of the Texas Rangers by a single home run. Cabrera leads the American league in hitting (.329) and RBIs (133). Cabrera has two hits in five at bats this season against the Royals' Jeremy Guthrie who will start opposite Porcello versus the Tigers on Wednesday night.
